How far along: 13 weeks
Size of Baby:
Baby's now the size of a peach! 2.9 inches, .81ozYour fetus is forming teeth and vocal cords...savor this, their nonfunctional phase. Baby is approaching normal proportions, with his head now only one third the size of his body. And intestines are in the process of moving from the umbilical cord to baby's tummy -- much more convenient.
How your baby's growing:
Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (
the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.

Note: Every baby develops a little differently — even in the womb. Our information is designed to give you a general idea of your baby's development.
How your life's changing:
This is the last week of your first trimester, and your risk of miscarriage is now much lower than earlier in pregnancy. Next week marks the beginning of your second trimester, a time of relative comfort for many women who see early pregnancy symptoms such as morning sickness and fatigue subside. More good news: Many couples also notice a distinct
libido lift around this time. Birth is still months away, but your breasts may have already started making colostrum, the nutrient-rich fluid that feeds your baby for the first few days after birth, before your milk starts to flow
Maternity Clothes: Not yet but soon. Many of my bottoms are too tight so I will be warm weather maternity shopping soon!
Weight Gain: 131.2
Stretch Marks: None
Belly Button: Getting a little shallow but still in
Sleep: I have been sleeping better these past few weeks. I wake 1 or 2 times to pee but usually I am able to fall right back to sleep.
Best Moment of the Week: We decided to take a family vacation with Jay's grandparents & Savannah to Virginia in September. It will be so nice to go away with them for a week before they leave for Florida for the winter. Also, my goddaughter, Kenzie, was born on Monday, June 27th. She is such a sweetheart!
Symptoms: I am still very tired and nauseous quite often. I still have a hard time eating and doing much of anything for too long. I feel badly but I just am not my usual self.
Food Cravings/Aversions: I have been dying for boneless buffalo wings from The Outback ever since Jay and I went 2 weeks ago! We went to dinner (just the two of us) on a Friday night and decided to each get a soup and then a few appetizers to split. It was such a yummy meal I have been craving it again ever since!
Gender: 7 weeks until we have our anatomy ultrasound and 8 weeks until our gender reveal!!!
What I Miss: Feeling like myself. Hopefully since I am sneaking up on the second trimester things will start looking up!
Looking Forward to: We have our 14 week OB appointment next Wednesday. As usual, I am looking forward to be sure everything is doing well. We should also get the exact date of our Ultrasound for next month.

One more thing: About 2 weeks ago (or so) we shared our news with everyone. It feels good to be bale to talk about our pregnancy. Before I felt like we are hiding a dirty secret from the world.
