The Fresh Beat Band

Tonight we took Savannah to The Fre.sh Be.at Ba.nd LIVE concert in Boston.  We didn't tell her where we were going.  It was a great surprise.  We had a wonderful time!

We let her pick out a t-shirt & she is very excited to wear t to school on Tuesday.  Too cute!

Weekly Wednesday Weigh-In: 10 Weeks Post-Partum

Starting Weight:  7wk pp: 144#
Last Week's Weight: 139.4#
Current Weight: # 136.8

Down 2.6# from last week-7.2 total (6.8# to go)

1. Reiterate my goal and where I stand in reference to this goal:

I'm 5'7" and have a goal weight of 130#, so I have # to go.

Drink at least 6-16oz. glasses of water daily -- 7/7
1hr. (3 1/2 miles) on treadmill 3x -- 1.5/3
Yoga 0/1

Yeah so I didn't do so well on the exercise front this past week.  I think I lost my motivation due to last weeks weigh in.  I feel like I am constantly rushing against the clock to do a million things.  This week I put exercise on the back burner.  I am not going to let that happen this coming week.  I don't get how last week I exercised often and I had a small gain.  This week I was a major slacker and I had a great loss.

Activities & goals for this coming week:
Stay within my allotted 32 We.ight Watc.her's daily points
Drink at least 6-16oz. glasses of water daily
Treadmill exercise 3x
Yoga DVD 1x

Dentist

Savannah had her first dentist appointment yesterday.  We have been putting it off for a while because we thought it was going to be pure torture for us her.  Much to our surprise, she was absolutely PERFECT!  In all honesty should could not have been better behaved.  The hygienist, Kim, said she as one of the best kids she has ever seen.  I find that almost comical.  Savannah hates the doctor or anything "medical" that is unknown.  She doesn't even like going for a routine physical (which we have an appointment for next week).  She has 20 healthy teeth & a fancy new tooth brush!  We have been playing "dentist" all night.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I am not Irish so I don't really get into St. Patrick's Day.  However since I now have a child in Pre-School I find myself helping her celebrate.  These pictures were taken Thursday before school.

I am not sure if they were having a little party or not but I sent her all decked out just in case.  And yes, she spilled her lunch on her shirt before we left the house.  Sigh...

My brother is home visiting from NY today so we are going to my parent's tonight for corned beef and cabbage dinner.  Savannah is so excited to see her Uncle Darryl again.  We only see him 1-2 times a year so we are all looking forward to tonight.  This will be his first time meeting Shane.

Easter Basket Drama

A few weeks ago I went online and I ordered Shane's Easter basket.  I had no trouble ordering the liner but the site had discontinued the large brown basket I wanted.  I was a bit upset about this because Savannah has the same brown basket and I wanted them to match.  I ordered the white basket and my plan was to give Shane Savannah's brown basket and Savannah the new white basket.  This wasn't what I wanted but I figured it would be OK.  So I ordered everything and then was told the white basket was on back order until March 26th.  This aggravated me very much because this store sells the same baskets every single year (they have new liners every year) so why the heck did they not buy like a million of them from their supplier???  Anyways, the following day I was stalking the website and noticed they were selling the brown basket again.  I called customer service right away and asked to have my order changed from white to brown.  I was told no problem but the brown was on back order also.  Then about a week later, stalking the site again, I noticed the brown was no longer offered again.  WTF!  So I called customer service for a second time and they said the other rep canceled my white basket but never put in the order for the brown basket.  They told m that they had over 5,000 brown baskets on back order.  They didn't think they were going to be able to fulfill all orders before Easter.  OH.MY.LORD!  I am so neurotic that if Shane doesn't have this basket for Easter I will die!  This is my babies first Easter!  The awesome rep saw that 1 store in California had 3 brown baskets.  She called the store and asked them to mail me one.  I would have hugged and kissed her if I could have.  So thanks to that wonderful lady my son and I will be having the best first Easter!  We are off to the mall to see the Easter Bunny today!
